RAC Motoring Services
The
SAAB Owners Club, as a Club associated with the RAC,
can offer
discounted rates on the many services provided by the
RAC. These include, breakdown, recovery services, travel
abroad etc. Although the Club hopes that your SAAB
will be reliable, it is always worth having the security
of this benefit for these difficult motoring moments.
Travellers Aid Service
TAS is a "self help" system based around a directory
of members who are prepared to offer their time to help other
members . The directory is published once a year.
There are four categories of service
offered:-
Technical
These are members who have some or substantial technical
knowledge who are prepared to share it with other
members if they have problems with their car and
need help or advice.
Cuppa/Chat
Those members who are happy for other members to visit
for a chat.
Emergency bed
A list of members who may be able to offer accommodation
for the night for other members in an emergency.
Guest House/Hotels
Establishments run or owned by members who can offer
an Owners Club welcome to other members.
