CLASSIFIED ADS
Ads can be purchased by Members using Classified Ads 'Points'. Non-Members can only create 'Wanted' adverts.
Members are given a 1000 points as a starter package. The points you have can be checked by logging in and going to 'My Points' under the CLASSIFIEDS Menu. This allocation last a long time so is pretty much a one time only request.
(In the unlikely event of you using up all your points, more can be requested via webmaster@saabclub.co.uk.)
The allocation of points to new members is, unfortunately, a manual process so new members may find they don't immediately have points. In this case then please contact webmaster@saabclub.co.uk stating your membership number, to request your points package.
This was a special edition for the 9-3’s final year, with only 99 produced.
It is equipped with the 2.8 V6 Turbo engine sending 280bhp and 400Nm of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed auto with paddle shift. In addition to the Haldex-based XWD system, the Carlsson has lowered sport suspension (with self-levelling rear), bigger brakes on unique 19-inch wheels, and a rear eLSD. The result is the fastest and best-handling Saab 9-3 ever.
Inside the car has a full parchment leather interior, with unique to this model leather-wrapped dashboard. It comes with electric windows, heated folding and dimming mirrors, electric heated seats, climate control, auto wipers, parking sensors, split-folding rear seats with pass-through, xenon cornering headlamps (which also adjust themselves for driving abroad) and the Saab ‘Night Panel’ feature.
One criticism of these high-spec 9-3s is the standard factory SatNav; this has been professionally replaced with a modern Alpine iLX-700 Apple CarPlay/FM Radio/aux system. The audio quality is great, having a factory-fitted Bose amp and 8 speakers.
This particular example is in fantastic condition for age, having done 149000 miles. There are some paint scratches on the exterior and wheels (see photos), but the interior is basically good as new. I am the second owner and have had the car since 2015, it being a fleet car previously. The car comes with a full service history, having been looked after by a main dealer and then local specialists once they disappeared. Most recent full service was in October. I replaced the battery in November, and it had a full Haldex service and fluid change in June. All brake discs and pads and both rear shocks were replaced last year.
As you can probably tell, this is a great car and I am sad to be letting it go, but I need to replace it with an estate. I have priced it realistically given the rarity and mileage.
