Ads can be purchased by Members using Classified Ads 'Points'. Non-Members can only create 'Wanted' adverts.
Members are given a 1000 points as a starter package. The points you have can be checked by logging in and going to 'My Points' under the CLASSIFIEDS Menu. This allocation last a long time so is pretty much a one time only request.
(In the unlikely event of you using up all your points, more can be requested via email@example.com.)
The allocation of points to new members is, unfortunately, a manual process so new members may find they don't immediately have points. In this case then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org stating your membership number, to request your points package.
3-door 900i SE, light metallic blue, with grey fabric interior and factory fitted sunroof. First registered January 1993. Indicated mileage 138578 miles, believed to be genuine based on MOT record. Good alloy wheels and rear tyres.
Currently dry-stored and on SORN due to a failing differential and worn valve guides.
Due to other commitments and restoration projects I am unable to give this car the attention it deserves and so it is on offer to a bona-fide restorer for a prices which matches the cost of new and recently fitted parts. Bought 7 years ago as temporary SAAB transport and eventual use as a donor car, its has been maintained with high quality parts but I am now reluctant to scrap a car which could be restored and so keep another example of this outstanding design in use.
New parts include CV joints, rear brake calipers and rear springs, headlamps, lambda sensor and downpipe. The front suspension was extensively reconditioned around 2 years ago; wishbones blast cleaned, zinc plated and epoxy painted, new springs and ball joints fitted and polyurethane bushes installed. New coolant pump and engine core plugs fitted while the engine was out
The body is generally sound but needs attention to non-structural rust damage around lower edge of tailgate screen and door bottoms. Interior is clean and in reasonable condition but a new headlining is needed.
