Ads can be purchased by Members using Classified Ads 'Points'. Non-Members can only create 'Wanted' adverts.
Members are given a 1000 points as a starter package. The points you have can be checked by logging in and going to 'My Points' under the CLASSIFIEDS Menu. This allocation last a long time so is pretty much a one time only request.
(In the unlikely event of you using up all your points, more can be requested via firstname.lastname@example.org.)
The allocation of points to new members is, unfortunately, a manual process so new members may find they don't immediately have points. In this case then please contact email@example.com stating your membership number, to request your points package.
I am selling this car on behalf of a very close friend who has recently passed away. The car was purchased by his father on the 4th of August 1989. It is a Saab 900 turbo 16 valve manual. It is in truly remarkable condition for its age.
The car was purchased from Adrian Smith, the Saab agent in Aberdeen in Scotland. it was ordered in Cirrus White with Buffalo Grey Leather trim. An additional £1,410.94 was paid for a number of extras including air conditioning, plush mats, a locking fuel cap and an oil pressure gauge, voltmeter and oil temperature gauge.
The V5C still shows no previous recorded keeper and my friends’ father is the only owner from new. The car was used every day until 2011, by then it had covered just over 60,000 miles.
It was MOT’d on the 28th of November 2017 at 61568 miles. Very few miles have been covered in the car in the last 5 years.
I have only driven the car on a private road. It appears to perform well for a car of its age. Some paintwork has been carried out over the years as there are signs of work being carried out on the lower parts of the doors and at the rear. This has been what looks like tidying up as there are no signs of any accident damage. The work has been carried out to a high standard. Also some years ago, there was a small repair to the near side front chassis. The car has been fully serviced with new oil and filter, gear box oil, brake fluid, plugs, air filter and fuel filter. It starts first time, and the gauges all read correctly.
There’s a comprehensive file which includes the original bill of sale, the service history, including all MOT’s dating from the 28th of July 1992, all the way through to 29th of November 2017. The only owner of the vehicle was retired for much of this time, hence the extremely low mileage. The service history includes the original Saab service book showing the original owner and services.
This is an opportunity to acquire a very good example of a class leading car.
