Saab 96 RevivalWill Saab’s future pass through a reinterpretation of its history with help from Belgian designers?

As seen with the Mini and the Fiat 500, the Neo-Retro style is undoubtedly a real success in the automotive world.

Encouraged by the London based Snetterton Memories Ltd, the company has specialized in designing and building prototypes inspired by prestigious popular ‘old-time cars’. The Marechal brothers, natives of Liège in Belgium and founders of this company, were inspired by the 96 and its glorious history in rallying. With the support of Bastogne dealership’s Mazzoni, the 96 revival project was born.

It’s a modern reinterpretation of the 1960’s Saab 96 which will be built on a convertible 9-3’s platform. At this moment the project is only a sketch but this English company mean to develop a drivable prototype with 300hp!
